We founders of the Almondbury Spartans ARLFC welcome you!

Due to the unforseeable circumstances all sports have being postponed. This means the fixture for the winter season was not concluded especially for the div3 alliance. In hindsight it means that the top 2 share the spoils with the Spartans having so many games in hand. Spartans B are now joint Division 3 title champions. We want all our members to stay safe & at home unless an essential worker! See you all at the club when rugby resumes.

Big thankyou to Travis Travels for sponsoring the B Team kit we think it looks great. The 1st team had the privilege of wearing it in today's penine cup 1st round but just missed out on getting the win in a close fought battle.
They will play in the Pennine Divison 3 alliance a hybrid 11 aside league

Winners are Grinners

The Spartans managed to gain the upper hand on Hanging Heaton in a close and evenly matched game. With impressive performances from new signings ethan Myers, Chalie Frost and Bob Jowett who scored a debut try which split the difference 26-22 to the Spartans with 4 mins remaining. Josh Wilcock was outstanding and was awarded MOM. All in all strong and determined team effort helped on in no small part to an excellent kicking game from Kian Morgan.

The newly formed Spartan B team took on thornhill B at home in a close fought game. With Spartan Callum Taylor getting Man of the Match. The final score was 18 -10 to Thornhill B.
